A: You have 7 calendar days from the date you receive your item to request a return.
Q: What conditions must a product meet to be eligible for return?
A: To qualify for a return, your item must:

Q: Do I need to pay for return shipping?
A: Yes. Customers are responsible for covering their own return shipping costs. Shipping fees are non-refundable, and if you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted.
Q: How will I receive my refund?
A: Once your return is inspected and approved, we will issue your refund to your original payment method (e.g. credit card). Refund timing depends on your card issuer’s policies.

Q: How long is the Mimi Baby warranty?
A: All Mimi Baby products come with a 6-month warranty from the date of purchase.
Q: What does the Mimi Baby warranty cover?
A: The warranty covers manufacturing faults and workmanship issues.
Q: What is not covered under warranty?
A: The warranty does not cover:
- Misuse or negligence
- Normal wear and tear
- Improper care or use
- Demo products (no warranty applies)
Q: Who can claim a warranty?
A: Only the original purchaser with proof of purchase can make a warranty claim. The warranty is non-transferable.
Q: How do I make a warranty claim?

Q: Do Mimi Baby car seats rotate 360 degrees?
A: Not yet. Our Group 0 seats are fixed rear-facing for maximum safety. Rotating models will be launched in future.
Q: Do Mimi Baby car seats have a support leg or top tether?
A: Not at the moment. Current Group 0 ISOFIX models use ISOFIX anchors and vehicle seatbelts. Models with support legs and top tethers are coming soon.
Q: Can Mimi Baby car seats be used with strollers?
A: Yes. Our infant car seats are travel-system compatible, so you can click them onto selected stroller frames.
Q: How do I know when my baby has outgrown a Group 0 seat?
A: If your baby’s head is level with the top of the seat or they exceed 13 kg / 87 cm, it’s time to move to the next stage car seat.

A: Mimi Baby Group 0 car seats are designed for newborns up to approximately 13 kg or 40–87 cm in height.
Q: Are Mimi Baby car seats safe for newborns?
A: Yes. Mimi Baby Group 0 car seats are ECE R129 (i-Size) approved, providing side-impact protection, a newborn insert, and a secure harness system for infants from birth.
Q: Do Mimi Baby car seats have ISOFIX?
A: Yes. Our Group 0 car seats are ISOFIX-compatible, making installation stable, quick, and secure.
Q: Can Mimi Baby car seats be installed without ISOFIX?
A: Yes. While ISOFIX is the easiest and safest method, our Group 0 car seats can also be securely installed using a standard 3-point vehicle seatbelt, making them versatile for different cars.
Practical Info
Q: How long can my baby stay in a car seat at one time?
A: For comfort and healthy development, experts recommend limiting car seat use to about 90 minutes at a time outside of travel.
Q: Do Mimi Baby car seats meet South African regulations?
A: Yes. All Mimi Baby car seats are fully ECE R129 approved, which is recognised in South Africa.
Q: How do I clean my Mimi Baby car seat and stroller?
A: The inserts can be gently wiped with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid machine washing or harsh chemicals to maintain their shape and safety.
Q: Can I use a second-hand Mimi Baby car seat?
A: We strongly recommend using a brand-new car seat. Safety can’t be guaranteed with second-hand seats, as prior accidents, wear, or missing parts may compromise protection.
